    Stronger, lighter, longer-lived, or able to do something the incumbent material cannot do at all — concrete that resists cracking under load.

    Performance has to pay for itself. Less material for the same job, fewer failures, and less maintenance over an asset's life.

    Lower embodied carbon follows from using less material and replacing it less often, rather than from offsetting what was always going to be spent.
